  • 2 Backs , 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 26 1/2"

Directions

  • Make Cuts and Pocket holes

Make all the cuts per the cut list.
Make pocket holes with Kreg Jig setup for 1 1/2" thick material.

Pocket holes are on in the shelves and bottom. Please review below steps for location of the pocket holes.

  • Build Side 1

Start by building side 1 of the shelf by attaching the bottom and shelves as shown in the drawing.
Attach using 2 1/2" pocket hole screws and wood glue.

  • Build Side 2

Attach the shelves to the long side per the diagram.
Use 2 1/2" pocket hole screws and wood glue.

  • Attach back

Lay down the back boards on the floor and align the shelves to them.

Then attach using 2 1/2" pocket hole screws and wood glue.
Also, attach the bottom to the second side to complete the shelf.

Note - I used 2x6 boards for the backs. However, you can also use 1x6 boards if you want the shelf closer to the wall. In that case the pocket holes will be made at the 3/4" thickness setting and attached using 1 1/4" pocket hole screws.
