Farmhouse Coffee Table

Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

Step 1

Cut the 1x6x8 boards into 52" boards. You will need 5 of them.

Step 2

Cut the 1x1x8 pieces into lengths of 4-1x1" pieces at 44" 4-1x1" pieces at 18.5" 4-1x1" pieces at 17" These will all be the frame for your coffee table.

Step 3

Drill pocket holes into the table top to join the 5 (52") boards together.

Join the 5 (52") boards together. (Tip, choose the side of the boards that are not the best looking to go on the bottom.)

Step 5

Build the frame in a rectangle box. The 4- 44" pieces are going to be on the top and bottom. The 4- 18.5" pieces are going to be the side pieces. The 4- 17" pieces will be the table legs.

Continue building the frame.

Use the Kreg jig to drill pocket holes to join the frame together.

Once the Frame is built, center the frame on the bottom side of the table top and screw it onto the frame using the 2" screws.

Flip the table and it is all built!

Use your favorite Stain for the table top. I used Minwax Jacobean for the top. I used antique white chalk paint for the frame. Use your favorite polyurethane to seal both the stain and chalk paint.
