Easy to build end table. Made to match the coffee table plans I also posted.

Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

1

Top shelf

For this step you will need all your pieces of 2x6. Join all of your 17" pcs together using pocket screw and glue. Add your 27 1/2 pcs at each end using pocket screws and glue.

2

Bottom shelf

Using your 15 1/2" pcs of 1x6, join all the pcs together using pocket screw and glue.

3

Assemble frame

Drill pocket holes, 2 at each ends, of your all of your 17 1/4" pcs and 15 1/2" pcs.

4

Assemble frame 2

Begin by building both legs. Glue and screw one of your 17 1/4" pcs flush to the top of your 18 1/2 " pcs. Add another 18 1/2 " pc to the other side. Measure 3 " from the bottom of your 18 1/2" pcs and add another 17 1/4" pc at those marks. Repeat for the other leg.

5

Assemble frame 3

Using one of your 15 1/2 " pcs, mount each one flush to the top of each leg with pocket screws and glue

6

Apply finish to frame

Paint the frame in a color of your choice. Choose a good quality paint. Apply multiple coats and make sure to sand in between each coat.

7

Apply finish to shelves

Stain the shelves to a color of your choice. Make sure to add a protective clear coat after the stain. This will protect your table for years to come

8

Assemble table

Once the paint and stain has dried, mount the bottom shelf to the frame using the pocket holes you made earlier. Glue and screw. Attach the top shelf to the frame using glue and screws. Screw through the frame making sure not to go through the top. You can also attach L brackets as an alternative.
