We designed this nightstand/bedside table to be traditional in style to match my mom's decor. She requested a drawer - which I had never built before. However, I was shocked at how easy it was to build and install the drawer. Don't let that intimidate you!

Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

1

Make Cuts and Drill Holes

Make all cuts necessary, then add appropriate pocket holes.

2

Build Base

Attach the shelf boards together, then attach to the legs, creating your base.

3

Build Drawer Box

Assemble the drawer box and the drawer. Add drawer slides with Kreg drawer slide jig or according to product instructions.

4

Construct and Attach Top

Attach the boards for your top together with Kreg screws and then glue on top of drawer box. Add a front to your drawer.
