Clean your shops air of small dust particles. Save money by building an air filtration system from scrap shop materials and a small fan.

Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

Cut Materials

Cut materials as per the cut list

Create Box Structure

Create the box structure from plywood using pocket hole joinery

Add Filter Front Frame

Add Filter Front Frame attach using pocket hole joinery.

Add Filter Back Rails and Stop

Add Filter Back Rails and Stop attach using pocket hole joinery.

Add Filler for Fan and Stops

Add Filler for Fan and Stops, sizing will vary depending on size of Fan.

Add Outer Frame

Add Outer Frame to secure fan into box structure

Mount

Mount the box to ceiling or wall by screwing through box.

(4) Filter Frame Horizontal, 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 22-1/2  
(1) Filter Stop, 3/4 x 2 x 3-1/4  
(1) Fan Filler, Varies  
(2) Fan Stops, 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 14  
(2) Fan Frame, 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 24  
(2) Fan Frame, 3/4 x 1-1/2 x 18-1/2
