Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

Cut 2 of the 3X36 1/4in thick board to 35in cut 1 of the 3X36 1/4in thick board to 2 pieces 5,5in long and 4 pieces 6&1/4in long

cut the 1X1 to 31&1/2in long and cut a 1/4in taper starting about 10in from the top, on 2 sides.

Attach the 2 3X35in boards and the 2 3X5.5in boards to the legs with pocket screws to create the apron of the table. Still with pocket screws, attach the 4 3X6&1/4in boards on the inside of the apron, to provide rigidity.

Using pallet wood, cut strips 2in wide of various length to create the table top. The size of the top I created was 8&1/2in wide for 38&1/2in long, including a 1/4in border all the way around. Once I had all the pieces cut, I assembled everything on top of a piece of luan for support

once all the glue was dry, I used pocket screws to secure the legs/apron to the table top
