Self contained fire pit table with housing for 15 lb propane tank

Directions

Follow the steps below to complete this project.

Legs

Cut four (4) 4X4's in 2' lengths for the legs.

Front & Back

Use the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig and screws to secure two (2) upper 3'-9" and four (4) lower 1'-4" 2X4's for the front and back.

Right, Center & Door

Use the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig and screws to secure the following Right: Two (2) 2" X 4" X 1'-0 3/4" Center: Five (5) 2" X 4" X 1'-4 1/4" Door: Six (5) 2" X 4" X 1'-0 3/4"

TOP

Use the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig and screws to secure the top as shown

Bottom

Use the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig and screws to secure the bottom as shown. The center 2X will need to be ripped down to 5 1/4"

Assembly 01

Attach Front, Back and Right Side to legs keeping 1/4" offset.

Assembly 02

Secure the Assembly 01 to the top keeling a 1" reveal all around

Assembly 03

Secure the center piece to Assembly 02 keeping flush with the bottom of the front & back sides

Assembly 04

Secure the bottom to the four (4) legs, front, back and center piece

Door

Secure the door with two hinges

Stain & Seal

Apply the stain and seal. Do not apply sealer to the underside. Only the tops and sides.

Door Hardware

Install the door pull and magnetic latch. I purchased mine at Lowes.

High Temp Felt

Install a high temp felt around the perimeter of the fire pan opening for added protection. I purchased mine at a local grilling store. It can also be purchased through Amazon

Fire Pit Assembly and Insert

Assemble the propane fire pit kit and insert the pan in the opening. I purchased mine at Easy Fire Pits (www.easyfirepits.com). The Complete Deluxe Kit came with a Key Valve which allows me to easily adjust the flame. I also purchase blue glass from Lowes to place in the fire pit pan.

(1) High Temp Replacement Felt
