The design is nice, but make sure you use hardwood. I did not, used fir and when i had all the pieces cut, the jig for Kreg was just too much for the wood to handle, too many splits. so my 40 bucks for the project basically was an expensive learning experience.

I built the plan as described; however I did add a couple more slats to top and bottom shelves. Wife loves it!

I built this last Sunday, and I'm really pleased with it. It is quite deep as someone else mentioned so you are quite limited as to where to hang it. I am planning to make one that is wider and not so deep. Will post pictures of my 'amended' version. Thanks for posting the plan!

I needed a towel rack that would hold two towels. Mine is 36" wide, 6 inches deep and the same height. It doesn't hold a stack of folded towels. Just a few knickknacks. Yours is easy to build. Mine is far more complicated. I get lots of oohs and ahs! Thanks for the basic idea!

This is a good plan and easy to build. It sticks out from the wall a bit and doesn't fit just any bathroom.
The pieces are 1 1/2" wide. Making it a bit awkward to clamp and screw/glue even using the Kreg clamps.
My project used very old Southern Yellow Pine that was somewhat brittle. The Kreg clamp that fits into the pocket had to be carefully inserted to keep from splitting.
