I picked this plan because it was PERFECT to house all of my components. I hope to update my pictures when I install the soundbar. However, I would suggest the using a table saw instead of a circular saw. The one drawback is that the plans do not tell you that you have to ream the holes in order for the screws to fit through the aluminum. I chose to use a provincial finish from Minwax. I also used three coats of their satin polyurethane as well. I have received rave reviews for this project. I look forward to building something else from this website.

It would be sharp if the sharp edges were no so exposed. This could be very dangerous for young children if they were to fall and hit the edge. I would turn those angle pieces around so they weren't facing out. Then it would be pretty nice
